Enjoyed your article, Sally. Lots of good, practical advice. It's a ritual I go through every fall and often in spring as well. Over the years the number of pots has increased considerably. Just how much of an increase was made clear to me last summer when, on a whim, I decided to count the number of outdoor pots (with plants in them). I came up with 211! The word "obsession" comes to mind... I should add that not all of them came inside in the fall, but the majority did. :-) Larry☼

Oh
My
Gosh
I'll admit--I can see if one has the room and time for it , it is so hard to throw out chunks of perfectly good plants that can live in the house for winter. All you need is a little more soil and another pot...or even just water and a jelly jar for some!
Thanks Larry
