I thought I'd share this with everyone. My sister made this blue rose for her hubby and it was hanging in one of the windows of their Crystal Beach home. My BIL remembered to grab the 1st SG project/gift that my sister made him, but he left several including this one.
The only thing she'll need to repair is the zinc going around the piece.
One of the pieces I made him (with a geode, about 90 globs and glass) didn't make it.
It sure looks like there was a tremendous amount of damadge there . I am so sorry for everyone that had to go through that storm . It was heading for my sons place ,down at rockport , but turned north and got you . I do know how hard it is for you , I had a tornado several years back and lost a picture my son had drawn for me from the first grade . It was priceless . God bless , and hugs . sally
Yeah, it was heartbreaking. They lost almost every keepsake they had collected for over 25 years, including the baby blanket my nephew went home from the hospital in 25 years ago. It's a bit ironic, but Ike hit on my nephew's birthday.
