This is what those trees inspire to me. I had the chance to walk in a Sequoia forest in California and more recently among giant Eucalyptus in Australia, they do make one feel like an insect. I live in tropical area (Reunion) and we do not get very high tree because of hurricanes which act as limiting factors and probably soils not deep enough to provide anchor to such giants. Wish I could climb one of them some day!

And although clmbing in the redwood parks to the southwest is not available to the public, you could visit coast redwoods too, about 4 hours from where this climbing school is.
Woh, thanks a lot, those are wonderful links, too bad I am 20000km away from such trees! But are those redwoods protected or can people grow and climb them? Of course this is not a sunday-climber task...
