I just discovered lotus vine for my deck planters this year, and would love to keep it over winter. I've read that it can be propagated through stem cuttings. I s this the same process as used for sweet potato vine and coleus? I root those in water and then pot in soil. Will this work, or should I dig up and separate the root ball before frost? Thanks for any help.
