HI
I just made my first bird bath and am hoping to make some stepping stones too but I need some advise please.
I tried telling DH I needed to use the PC and sand to do it but he insisted I use a premix instead.
Well the inside of the BB looks okay but the outside is rough as it had gravel in it so it is rough
so now I want to make it smooth if possible and I have to fix the hole where the stem was as I tried to get him to understand it needed to be thicker there on the bottom because of where the stem was cut off and he kept patting it down and I also have to get the "base" added on as it took the whole bag to do it ...I knwo he meant well but sometimes I would rather mes sup on my own if it was meant to be as I had planned on making the "base" so It could sit on something instead of the ground.

so if I take PC and sand mix will I be able to smooth out the outside and make a base ?
and the inside has some pin size spots like air bubbles can I make a slurry to fill those in or should I just leave them and let the paint and sealer take care of it.

I have another Big EE leaf I am going to use to make another one for a friend so this one is my trial and error one for me
