Hey
I m very interested in leeks for next season. I got some from a local gardener in our area. Never would have thought about them if it wernt for him . Glad you got an article out to help with my seeking knowledge on leeks . :)
I like the pics the best !! always helpful to use visual learners lol

Thanks, Sue. I LOVE leeks but they are SO expensive to purchase in the store. I would like to find another source for 'sets' in spring, although Dixondale is reliable... and inexpensive. I don't know how viable are the seeds I saved from these, but I'm sending some to Neal, and will try to start some myself in January.

Yes here in OH people don't even know what a leek is ? ! lol oh well.
they make such good soup iwth potatos
I can ask my farmer friend where he gets his ? if you like . :)
