Donna, you are correct. I don't have my newest little blue rue in the ground yet, but I found a 4th instar cat on the plant a couple of days ago...so exciting!

I love the rue for that reason ..the beautiful butterfly's. I bought a small nursery and my first tray of Rue there was a lot of "worm's" on it I pulled off 4 of them and killed them ,there was a lady standing there that said "you know thouse will be black swallowtail butterfly's"
I liked to have choked ,..now I have all kinds of butterfly's in my "garden".Solid yellow ones on the Cassie tree,and orange ones eating up my passion flowers.I enjoy them so much...Gingerose
