Loved your article. I purchased one plant a few years ago and fell in love with it. Purchased seeds last year and now I have them everywhere. They look beautiful under my weeping cherry tree and intermixed with bayberry shrubs. And the voles, deer and other critters leave the rue alone!
Thanks for your kind feedback! Yes, it is very critter-resistant. I actually ordered my latest rue plant from a website called Deer Resistant Plants...even though deer aren't a problem for me, the squirrels and bunnies are.
