My niece is looking to plant bamboo in her small yard. She is looking for something that will be clumping, 10'-15' tall and colorful. She asked me but I know there are hundreds, if not thousands to choose from. She looked at the American Bamboo Society website and is even MORE confused as to what she wants or what will work.
She is in Z5a here in Utah not too far from me. The picture shows her yard and she would like to plant along the right side of this fence at the top of the hill. It will hide the pole. The pic is facing East.
Any suggestions for her (and me) on what she can do?
