Collecting seeds cannot be stopped once it is begun! I have had the addiction for over 35 years, and I get the same pleasure from
it now as I did when I first began. It is a wonder I have not broken a leg leaning over a deep ditch trying to snag seeds of Joe Pye
Weed or Ironweed. Seeds are also good mementos of public places and of friends who share them.
This is a great subject Sharon, and so well done! Your mom really had your number, didn't she?!
Hi Gloria, always nice to hear from you.
I think every body had my number, but I didn't know it at the time. They just let me believe I had outsmarted them.
It for sure was never dull anywhere near me, and my poor mother never knew what might spring from her garden every year (or from my mouth every day).
Thank you for writing.
