I'm pretty new to this site and I've noticed that the members do round robins with seeds and other items. Has a round robin for scrapbooking ever been tried? I know that I sometimes buy embellishments and then realize that it wasn't really what I wanted for a particular page and so it sits until I decide to use it. It'd be cool to trade them off with another member.
I've never done a round robin yet, but I think it would be alot of fun to do one for maybe just stickers, brads and other small embellishments.

Is there a member here who's participated in the round robins who would give her/his opinion on doing this? I'd love to be in one :)

I've never been in a round robin but I sure have lots of things sitting around that I thought I would use and didn't. Or packages that I used one piece out of and now the rest just sits.

Well, let's see how many are interested and maybe we can get one going. If no one else wants in, then maybe the 3 of us can figure out how to trade some of our items. :)

Uh, Sheri (sjweld) and I are sisters. I would just as soon not trade with her, since I already use most of her stuff! LOL ;)

Might be a dumb idea but how about a paper exchange? I have TONS of 12 x 12 paper I thought I would use and never did...

I was just looking through my old "Memory Makers" magazines, and a Round Robin was mentioned. I was in one a few years ago, and it was a huge success! You take the items you want from the box, and add the same number of items from your collection you no longer want/need. I have tons of things I would be willing to put in: paper, pens, stickers, diecuts. Please count me in.

I would suggest waiting until all the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over with. Maybe we can set this up to start in early January?

Me, me, me! I'm fairly new into scrapbooking (early this year), but I've accumulated A LOT of stuff. I think I like buying the stuff better than I do scrapbooking! :-) As long as you are waiting til after the holidays, I'd love to participate!

I think that's a good idea.. check back here after the holidays and then we'll con.. umm, I mean.. PERSUADE someone to head the Round Robin. :)

Guess between now and the first of the year, I need to go through all my things and see what I'm willing to part with. Are we going to limit it to just paper or shall we do a box that would accomodate both paper and embellishments?

LAKelley2, I'm with you.. buying the stuff is SOOOOOO much fun! I don't have a clue what I'll use it with, but I just KNOW I'll use it for something... eventually LOL!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Oh, I would like to see more than just paper. I think the one who started this thread would be a great one to head up the Round Robin.

I would like to trade more than just paper too. I have different themes of things that I'll probably never use again like baby, toddler and wedding. I also have a lot of the same color of acid-free pens. This will be a lot of fun.
I agree that the person who started the thread would be a good candidate to start the RR, if she feels comfortable.

hmmm.. when I said con, I mean persuade someone.. I wasn't thinking of ME LOL!!!!
Well, I have from now till January to figure it out.. so what the heck.. I'll give it a go and we'll see if I'm ever put to the task again when it's over :-)

If there's anyone who's had experience of handling a RR and would be willing to give advice, please D-mail me.. I welcome all advice!

sarahlee, I just stumbled across your renewal of this thread (good job). I didn't see it the first time around.

Yes, I would be interested in swapping some things as described above. I've never participated in any kind of RR though...
