I was told last week that people using anti bacterial products to wash clothing dishes and as a household cleaner can expect to have septic problems after a few years. Does anyone have any information on this?

I think the septic system uses bacteria to break down the solids. Anti-bacterial products will kill the bacteria and keep it from doing its job. What I've been hearing is that anti-bacterial products are contributing to hardier and more resistant strains of bacteria. Life finds a way.
