Ahhh, so many kindred spirits! If you see seeds on plants in public gardens, does your hand
just "sneak" out as you pass by? Ok, Ok, so arrest me!
We moved, 4 yrs ago, from our acreage (where I could plant anything & everything), to town.
Limiting what I plant, now, is agony! We're looking now, for a smaller acreage that isn't 35
miles from work, as I've convinced DH that my soul is dying without enough soil. ;-)

"Sneak" is the word!
I don't do it nearly as much as years ago, maybe I am not fast enough, maybe not sneaky enough, but when i walk through some parks, I usually take the road less traveled.
So nice to hear from you, I hope you can do something about all that dirt you are missing. If I ever moved from this place, I would have to take my gardens with me. I doubt anyone would ever buy a house that had a lawn with huge excavation sites all over it!
