I have several little grandsons (and grand-daughters also) who would love this snake. I was wondering what to do with my husbands ties, as he does not use them any more, and I do not have the get-up to make a quilt out of them. Thank you for such a cute idea. Now I will probably have to haunt the Goodwill to find more ties. A good recycling idea.

LOL -- the snakes pictured in the article were made from thrift store ties! While we had a few old ties hanging around, you can bet that there wasn't anything like that pink striped number or that bright paisley in DH's closet. :-)
It's a great project for a rainy afternoon. I hope you and your grandkids have a ball with it!
