This is the cutest idea I've seen in a long time. I'm going to make dozens and maybe they will scare away the beautiful deer that ear all my precious Herbs up. Speaking of Herbs, I need a good grower to purchase Herbs from. Anybody with any good suggestions or ideas please email me at fplpdreamteam@charter.net; it would be much appreciated. After choosing two myself and have had bad experiences with them I've decided to ask others to give me a hand. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

Much love and blessings to you and yours.

I don't know why the picture I posted says prohibited as I got it straight from a CD that is copyright free. I'm so sorry folks; it will not happen again. The necktie snakes are wonderful regardless.

I'm glad you liked the idea, and I hope you'll have a blast making your snakes.

LouLou, I do a lot of my herb shopping at DeBaggios in the DC area, but that probably doesn't help you because they don't do mail order. Remember to check out vendors in the Garden Watchdog; there's a lot of good feedback there!

I'd like to encourage you to try a DG subscription (2 month trial subscriptions are just $5, which might be a way to get your feet wet without committing to a full year). We have an excellent and quite active Herb Forum that I think you'd enjoy. You might also find some advice on other forums on how to deal with your deer herd...

Lou, the "unauthorized use prohibited" is the copyright that the DG site automatically adds to any photo you upload, so your photos cannot be easily downloaded and distributed elsewhere.

You can change this to a more unobtrusive DG watermark or to no copyright at all if you prefer. From your home page, go to the green "my info" tab. Click on "manage your preferences" and then click the "copyright" selection from the right hand menu.

:-)
