I need references for things your kids have loved and gotten a lot of mileage out of, they don't have to just be "learning" toys per say. For example, one of my 2 year olds favorite things (ongoing for months now) is a Disney Princess vinyl sticker book where she can put the vinyl sticker outfits on the girls. Her coordination has improved a lot in putting them on. So I'd buy that again!
We don't use computer or video type gaming systems so that's out.
Things we can use together or independant are awesome!
Right now she's got a put the sticker on the correct alphabet letter (zebra for Z etc) and she loves that and does it with me or alone.
She also goes for her flash cards to look at with or without me.
We have tried to pick up a lot of sign language from Baby Einstein and I really like that idea. We also have gotten illustrated books to learn as much French as I can dare do having no experience with it myself.
Reviews for items to learn French are half and half so I'm not sure which product to try?
I love the Signing Time TV series but on DVD my gosh the set is like 150 bucks or better!
If there are some flash cards, games, interactive items your kids have loved would you please post! I am especially looking to broaden our library of this by Christmas so need some ideas as presents.
