I have a question regarding this plant in particular, the 12 seeds were started inside November 2006 and were put outside about a year later, in the same pot, then I transplanted them this spring in 2008 into the ground. They still have not bloomed and they are still really short. Are they supposed to be short hollyhocks? does anyone have any info on these... they are really frustrating me because I've been waiting so long and now I only have a couple of plants left, maybe 3 if that.
The seeds I scattered for some other hollyhocks this spring already bloomed. Could the Creme de Cassis be particular or am I doing something wrong?
