My doctor recently told me she suspects I am allergic to all the grains, so she has me on a "grain free" diet. I couldn't live without cookies, so this is the recipe I've come up with for chocolate chip cookies. You can't even taste the difference.
2 cups Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo & Fava Flour
1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill almond flour
1tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
1 cup melted butter
1cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1tsp vanilla
2 eggs
4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix all but the chocolate chips. When mixed well, add the chocolate chips. Bake on cookie sheet for 8-10 min at 350 degrees F.
Allergic, not celiac? That's different... To ALL the grains, meaning rice and corn too? Wow. Good luck. You might want to post that recipe in the Recipes forum; there's a thread there for gluten-free recipes!
