thanks Tamara for your informative article on Rue!!! My mother loved growing herbs, and rue was a favorite, but I've never grown it. I'm going to try it next year, because I love hosting Black Swallowtail butterflies but always run out of their host plants (in my gardens, dill and parsley, which the caterpillars chew down to nothing in no time). Rue and fennel are also their known host plants, so next year I will experiment with them both!
