I used to use them a lot until my mid 20's when I just got to busy to read. Now with little ones I soon realized that just buying books to read was getting to expensive and we trekked out to find our local library. Problem is the toddler wants to just wander around and read her own books leaving me little time to find books that would be age appropriate to take home to read. So then I started just requesting books online. Now when we go to the library I've always got a great stash of books ready in a pile to take home, DD can walk around and do her thing there...and then of the pile any favorites we find we read over and over and over again get purchased for home collections.

I was really disappointed to see though that Amazon, of the books we deem favorites, is only selling them as PAPERBACKS! *Gasp* that will never work for the long term love we give our books. For kids I just prefer hardbound. Do you have any other online book store references????
