| Here ya go... had to avert a near crash of the 'ol computer! Anyway, the white spots on the tail seem to confirm Palm Warbler, too. Many thanks to all who shared their IDs. The more I learn, the more I see that I need to learn!

| LOL, Mrs. Ed. Most times that seems to be the extent of my knowledge when it comes to these cute little guys. Unfortunately, I am still at the point where I need to have the book in hand when trying to ID them, yet it seems I have too few fingers to mark the pages of what I think one might be! I'm learning though... I'm learning. :)

| LOL!!!! That is usually my approach too Marna. Because when I look in the book first I do like I did this morning (grosbeak/purple finch) and get it wrong!! |

| One of the best identifiers for Palm Warblers is the tail wagging. I don't think any of the other warblers that winter in North Florida have that habit. |

| They look very similar, I agree. But for one, I think that it might be too late for grosbeaks in your area. The grosbeaks are also larger, more like cardinal size and have some yellow on the front. |
