This little bird is 2 1/2 " long. I do not remember where I got it. It's the cutest little thing and I would like to know where it's from and what it is for sure.

Is it on brass? Does a magnet sick to it? What I can see it is from China. I would say not american. I could be wrong.

I googled Kutani and didn't find it specifically. Lots of tea sets and sculptures. Very pretty.

I have some figurines and the painting on your bird kinda reminded me of them. When I was researching my figurines, I did find some animals, thats what made me think of it.

I have some bowls that look like this...bought them in Hong Kong... The process is called called cloissone.
Mine aren't old, tho. It's ceramic over bronze, I believe.
