I was givin a few poppy seeds from a DG'er. Luckily its a plant I dont own and would love to add to my garden.
I would like to start seeds indoors. When should I get this going here in New York State?
As I read this thread I realized the answers are here.
I still have a question about starting in our reverse climate.
We are cold in March w/temps in the 20's.
If OP seeds need to have a pre germination cool period of 50's do I wait to sow in humus pots until April when temps are warmer?
Can I leave the pots out duering the day and bring in at night when temps are in the 30's?
Do anything to keep planted seeds at a temp of 50-60*
