What a super idea for brightening up the front porch. I used to have a lovely Japanese Maple that would loan its silhouette to the front porch all winter long, but last year's late freeze took her. I'm so sad. But the Kiwanis who sell Christmas trees always give away the boughs they trim from the trees. I'm happy to give them a few bucks for their treasury and good works. I'd use those boughs indoors in a big vase, but this year I'll get a few extras for the front porch. Thanks.
