I love my new family room walls - color washed with three shades of periwinkle - ragged (pic doesn't do it justice)

Just beautiful! We chose that color when we painted our guest house this year, but the ragging gives it such depth. I wish I'd had the time and knowledge to do that. My one attempt at ragging was just awful.

thank you so much. It takes some time and is very messy, but well worth it. I thought the top coat that I was ragging on would take the least amount of paint - WRONG, so be careful, get enough for the top coat 'cause you end up washing most of it down the sink when you continuously rinse out your rag.
