A large amount of leftovers is the reason we eat duckling for just the 2 of us. I enjoyed the turkey receipe in a fantasy mode.

Well, we only cooked a 16 pounder this year, so after last night's turkey mole', we're nearly out of leftovers here! *sob*

We cooked only two large turkey breasts this year, and there is still plenty left. I'm one of those weird people that don't get sick of it, though. I like going 'cold turkey'...cold turkey sandwiches, that is. ;p
Oh, and I collect wild turkey feathers from our woods--I think they're pretty, despite the lack of a rainbow of colors.

LOL @ your version of "going cold turkey."

Wild turkeys do have some pretty iridescence!

I think even if your collected feathers have bird lice on them, that shouldn't cause any problems as long as you don't have birds in the house... seems to me I remember something about lice being specific parasites.
