Jill, I love your story about the turkey in your family! The recipe sounds delicious !Never heard of using chocolate in a meat meal...I may use it on New Year's Eve menu!

The sauce won't taste like a candy bar, but the chocolate in mole' does add a depth and richness of flavor that I really love. I hope you'll be able to find a jar of mole' sauce... it's possible to make it from scratch, but as I recall from reading recipes it involves a lot of toasting this and grinding that. :-)

I'm glad you liked Mom's turkey tales... seeing those wild turkeys in their yard (photos in last Thurday's article) got her reminiscing, and I "took notes."

I like that saying! I've always been a believer in "adopting" extra family. Who says you can't choose your family? LOL My parents had 2 children, and I have a wonderful brother... but that didn't keep me from adding a few sisters! :-)
