The Daphnes are a super family, a few years ago I discovered the bholuas, about 6 feet tall, some are evergreen and all with the most beautiful scent, scents mean different things to different people, but I should call them spicy. There is Jacqueline Postill and Gurkha and others (can't remember) In the south of England they start flowering now and go on until Feb/March. If you bring a branch indoors they scent the whole room. We are lucky that we can grow all the other plants mentioned here, winter can be not so bad with these super shrubs.

I'm sorry not to have any photos, I haven't yet learnt to transfer from camera to laptop and then send.

A bit early, but Happy Christmas to all.
