That is beautiful. My grandmother tried to teach me cross stitch when I was little, but gave it up as a bad job. I tried it later as an adult, but my best efforts always looked like they had been done by a demented spider. I am most appreciative of your wife's work.
I think that being like a spider and having delicate hands makes a real cross stitch lady.
Now she is going on with a third work -- Peony blooms with several birds on. I caculate that the work will take 2 months or so.
I did a lot of crewl embroidery when I was younger but I never had the patience for cross stich work. Your wife's work looks wonderful. I hope you will post the next one when she completes it.

It is march and was wondering how is your wife doing with her new Cross stitching work. The first one is really beautiful.
In school we had to learn to cross stitch and in my dowry I have a lot of Hand towels, which I still use today.
