I am looking for suggestions of palm varieties that can handle exposed, often windy sites. I use tropicals on a large commerical site in central Illinois for impact. Love the idea of inserting a few large scale palms next season (naturally they'll be treated as annuals in Zone 5). Just not certain what would perform best. http://www.gardensbos.blogspot.com
