This is great information. I heat my large birdbath, it looks like a small metal paddle. I now see birds that have never been to my backyard in the winter. We are expecting ice this week, and the birds are all bathing, getting ready for the extra cold. If I could only do heated water or food, I would heat the water. It is amazing to watch the birds.

Cathy, that's great information. So cool that they are bathing and using your heater. Way to go!
