    Great article, also.

    I call my birds who still visit every day my winter flowers. Here's one from this week...
    taken through my dirty glass door past the deck and on out into a flower garden. Not such a good photo but makes me smile anyway.

    Ooo, yes, Happy Birthday, and thanks for a very interesting article!
    We keep a large heated waterbowl outside for all the critters, and black oil and safflower seeds, too.

    Sharon, nice to see you have bluebirds. I don't get them in town. Probably just as well since there are so many house sparrows in these parts.
