Well researched and authoritative article. Having worked several years for our county MI State U Extension helping consumers with their plant/tree problems, I can tell you that we take our trees for granted. Read this article and follow the advice. It's accurate.

Interesting that this article came on-line as the Eastern Seaboard and New England were pounded with ice. I hope the article helps homeowners recover their precious trees.
