Thanks for all the info on irises and their durability. I remember having irises that popped up in the yard where I worked at one time.
It didn't matter how much abuse the yard was given, every year those beautiful purple/gold iris would bloom. A couple of months ago
I saw some iris in a package at the store that looked just like them, so I bought some and already stuck them in the ground. I think
the package said to plant them in the fall...I hope that was right??
