I've been thinking about canceling my trash service, I pay $22 a month and that is $264 a year. ! Just to throw stuff away.
I am interested in anyone's trash tips LOL
I could recycle the food cans? I think they are steel? Can I get money out of them?
Most stuff would burn in a barrel and food scraps could go on the compost pile.
What about plastics?
Glass? Like pickle, jelly jars ect?
And what about old toys, or other 'junk' items?
I have a yard sale once a year and I am thinking I could give away alot of things.
So what do y'all do with your trash???

I'm thinking about using walmart sacks for trash instead of buying trash bags. I paid like $8 for trash bags at WM last time! Outrageous! Just to throw them away! The WM sacks are small but surprisingly they hold more than I thought. And I have plenty of them. I am also going to use them in the wastebasket in the bathroom also. Perfect size and FREE.
