Thank you so much for this honest heartful reflection. We all would do well to remember this in other times as well, not to judge what we believe we understand in others, not to judge, but to allow, to give benefit of the doubt, to remember that every one of us has a heart and everyone of us has stories no one else can really know.
When my mom went under for her final surgery, I promised her we would walk on the beach together again. After her passing, though I did walk on the beach, and though I tried to "walk with her" there, it was just never the same.
