I have very limited space but by using led grow lights I have little worries. There is no heat issues and my plants flourish under the leds. They are "green", using very little wattage. They are extremely safe because they dont run hot(leds are warm to the touch).
My apartment garden is under 4x6 and Im growing lettuce,tomatoes,wheatgrass,peppers,roses,iris...and a surprise this week...a sunflower!! http://www.igrowwithleds.com brad@igrowwithleds.com
