Your story, like Sharon's, was most touching and brought tears to my eyes. How is that sometimes the smallest gestures become the biggest monuments to our lives? Great Christmas story.

A beautiful story, Christmas or not. In our comfortable easy lives of these modern times it is easy to forget that there were times like those in your story. Times when there was no electricity & telephones in rural areas, A/C & central heating in many homes, funeral homes to handle the services for our departed ones, all kinds of floral arrangements shipped in from all over the nation/world, etc. If we would step back in time for a while and remember the hardships of those who have gone before us we would have more appreciation for what we have now.

May you all have a blessed and joyous HOLY DAY.

What a great story. Thank you even if it is a few years old. Jo
