Your article made me realize I had not even thought about 2009 resolutions. I did quite well with my 2008 resolutions, and I hope they have become permanent habits, rather than a 1 yr promise. Anywho, here are mine 2009 resolutions, not too many.

1) Grow more tomatoes, veggies (that we will truly eat), fruits and become less dependent on $3/lb tomatoes from grocery store
2) Maintain my gardening journal
3) Buy less, stop drooling over the myriad of catalogs that will come my way
4) Enjoy existing plantings
5) Work on propagating perennials

#3 will be the hardest, lol

Good luck on your goals - they are good ones. Growing your own veggies is especially rewarding and not as hard as some people think.

Check in with me at the end of 2009 to see how many of these resolutions I actually fulfilled...haha!
