My wife and I are expecting our first child, and we live in a 1950s ranch-style house. Since we have only two bedrooms, we would like to move the cats' litter boxes from what will be the baby's room to the screened in porch. We want to keep the doors to the porch open so that cats can come in the house and go out to the porch as the deem necessary or desire. Thus, we need something to cover the existing screen to keep some control on the heat and air conditioning. We live in South Georgia, so it isn't a huge deal, but we need to make some effort on keeping the space cooled.
Does anyone have a non-glass suggestion for replacing the scereen? What about polycarbonate or t-111?
My older dog learned within a week. Maybe less. the look on his face when he realized that he could come and go as he pleased was priceless.
We did it hands on - one person on each side, with treats and physically putting him thru the door to the other person who praised and treated him. It was maybe a week till he learned to use it on his own.
The Vet said to use 1/4" chicken peices. I'm pretty sure that your cats would love them too. I'm told, by cat people, that they are smarter than dogs when it comes to pottying and getting treats. They will probably suprise you at how fast they figure this out.
