Recordings of Sir Harry Lauder can be found over at the Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project hosted at the University of California Santa Barbara: http://cylinders.library.ucsb.edu/ where academics are digitizing old Edison cylinder (and similar) recordings. Some are lovely, and some as skritchy as the original wax medium, but perhaps all the more delightful for that!

The red corkscrew hazel wants to come home with us...
