| For anyone nearby he will be on display for two weeks at the Eastern Outdoors show in Harisburg starting Febuary 7th

| I'll bet you could do one on one of these... a bull head, this one I used to make a concrete form over it.. it was made out of quickwall with fiberglass (I cracked it taking it off), I just need to glue the mold of quickwal back that I made out of ( this is a plastic one).

| Barrell, your work is absolutely stunning. My husband and I found your thread together and WE LOVED YOUR WORK. What a great Idea.I just got back on DG. But are your forms plaster? Again, what a great Idea!!!! They are beautiful!!!!!! You Have Talent!!!! And imagination. Thats what makes a true artist. And , you obviously have fun at it. WOW!!!! Now, I can just feel it! | Thye are standard taxidermy forms available from many supply houses. They are designed to have tanned hide pulled over them so Ypou have to be handy as you go. In some places I add some auto body puddy. And in some places I need to sand down some of the dificult spots. The rattlesnake I have been working on will be done tommorrow and I will be posting some pics. It wasnt as much time as the deer but it had some very tricky locations on the form. |
