Hi everyone, last summer there was talk of the excalibur food dehydrator here on DG. I've been watching the prices and browsing Ebay. Does anyone know anything about the "Vegekiln?" These are for sale on Ebay and are the same style as Excalibur with horizontal heating, thermostat, slightly smaller fan, same wattage, all trays come with the flexi-reuse sheets!, 1 year warranty. There is no front door, the trays close in such a way as to make the door themselves, looks like there is still room for air circulation in the ebay photo. $139.00
Funny thing is...I tried to find a vegekiln website and there was none, just some link to a woman who has one and is looking for recipes- she said hers was made in China...same photo as on ebay, but different name..."garden express". Maybe I should just stick with the name we all know and pay the extra.
I found an ebay price for a NIB excalibur 9 tray version for $179.00 with shipping included. Comes with guide and a few disposable liners, no resue tray liners though.
    What do you all think?
