I have always bought the new plant first and THEN figured out where I could stuff into my garden. I came to peace with my gardening style when I found that my artistic friends were finding plants in my garden that they could incorporate into their own more disciplined plantings. My quixotic garden has become a reference work!

That's the best compliment isn't it! I'm glad you found something to identify with in the article. Now if I could just get past the winter itchies I've got so bad right now... I need spring!
