I would like to know what type of perrennials or plants are sed in the cottage garden I have acamp ground setting that we go to in the summer that gets morning sun and afternoon shade with possibly acidic soil we live in illinois do you think the cottage garden wold work? thanks maron134

What you can see in this bed, from left-right:

A vareigated Caryopteris (you can barely see it)
Baptisia (grown from seed)
'Chocolate' Eupatorium (also from seed)
vareigated iris
'Mainacht' salvia
phlox (not yet in bloom)
