My TV has just started having horizontal lines in the picture. It sort of reminds me of when the picture would roll in the old TV's. When I hit the top and or side of the TV it stops and is fine. But when I first turn on the TV I can barely see a picture. Sometimes it is just one bright line in the dark screen. I took a picture - don't know if that will help. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Thanks, Loretta

Depending on the age of the set, it may be time to start over. If it is an analog set, you will need a new antenna and a converter box -- or cable or equivilent next month anyway.

I was told today that it is probably the tube? I think I will be looking for a new TV for an early birthday present. That will be better than buying the car battery for a Christmas present. LOL Thanks Bubba.
