Ok - since it sounds like this was a thread folks would enjoy here it is. For now I'd like to concentrate on specifically fragrant (the more fragrant the better) - bloom size and color don't matter...at this point, at least. I have no pics as I just purchased my first 2 orchids yesterday (doing the happy "new mama" dance). However, so I can feel as though I've "added" something to this thread here are 3 I was able to "sniff first hand" and I really enjoyed their scent: Maxillaria Tenuifolia (actually this one wasn't in bloom but I couldn't resist buy it based on how the scent was described - I mean seriously Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil...yummmmy) , the Bifrenaria (unsure of the species), and the Angraecum Distichum. Any thoughts from you all on the scent of the Acampe papillosa or Brassia - Rex by any chance?
