I was at Lowe's wandering around in the garden dept and rescued some fishtail palms of some kind. There were three of them growing in a gallon sized pot and are probably over six feet tall. The pot was splitting and some of the fronds have brown edges. It was so rootbound that I had to take some drastic measures to get them out of the pot and apart from each other. They are now in a nice large pot in cactus/palm soil. Aside from the brown edges on some of the leaves they look pretty good. Any advice?
