I’m going to try growing veggies in containers this year, so the veggies I want should be happy, growing in containers. The non-cool weather veggies should be able to thrive in heat.

Here is what I am looking for:

Arugula

Bibb lettuce

Radicchio

Green-leaf lettuce

Red-leaf lettuce

Romaine

Spinach

Tomatoes that can take heat and not form thick inedible skins - about the size of a tennis ball

Cherry/Grape Tomatoes that would do well in a hanging basket

Bell peppers

Yellow squash

Carrots

Leeks

Spring onions
