However, experience demonstrates that gardening does no make sense to some people, in many parts of the world, in the urban context. Puerto Rico is a good example. Even worse, the indifference towards nature is really astounding. Worse than what I
speculated.
That is the feedback I receive, perceive in many blogs regarding the gardening subject. People
are disconnected from their surroundings, they do not see it/care even less. Except to write
meaningless petitions. One example, ask a hundred
people the names, vulgar/botanical of twenty different plants native/over used in your area
and see it for yourself. NO idea.
On the other hand gardening requires serious dedication, praxis and theory, not to get
into stamina. Monitoring for insects, diseases. It requires conviction, discipline.
I do not see the type of gardening suggested in the White House, or any other house,
from my experience and context. A nice article, that makes me ponder.
